Foliade

Foliade converts a PDF into an interactive flipbook: a catalogue, a brochure, a menu or a portfolio that you leaf through in the browser, on a computer as well as on a phone. You drop the file and get a link to share; there is nothing to install, neither for you nor for your readers.

What Foliade does

• Fast conversion: about twelve seconds for a 120-page PDF, with text that stays selectable, readable by screen readers and searchable.
• Six reading modes: soft-page magazine, bound book, sliding presentation, card stack, 3D carousel or single page.
• A link, not an attachment: the flipbook is shared by URL, by a printed QR code or as an iframe in a web page. A 40 MB catalogue never arrives as an attachment; a link does, and it opens on mobile.
• The same address, every year: replace the PDF, and the links you sent, the printed QR codes and the iframes already in place keep working.

Free, then according to use

Without an account, you publish up to three PDFs a day (50 MB and 100 pages each), online for thirty days. A free account keeps up to five catalogues, twelve months guaranteed. The paid plans add the full API and the download of the original PDF (Pro), then the HTML export to host yourself (Business). Reading statistics, export and team features remain optional: you only pay for what you use.

Why a flipbook rather than a PDF?

A PDF sent as an attachment is heavy, painful to read on a phone and impossible to measure once it has left. The flipbook opens in the browser, updates without sending a new file, and tells you how many people opened it and how far they read. It is the tool I use for the catalogues and brochures of the websites I build.

On the technical side

Foliade is developed by Gekkode. The interface exists in eight languages, an API covers every operation, and a PDF can also be dropped through MCP, which lets an AI assistant publish a catalogue on your behalf.
